Aoun Ali

Aoun is a 16 year old student from Karachi, Pakistan who is passionate about making earth a better place to live in through climate activism. Aoun has worked with several national and international climate activism organisations to play his part in bringing change to the problems we have with respect to the environment. Aoun loves to read, write, and solve new problems through innovation. He is also an innovator at The Knowledge Society. He has a broad interest in climate action and scientific research, which is what he believes can change the world. He wants to use science and technology to bring a revolution in the development of global environmental growth. His passions rely around finding solutions for some crucial issues that affect the community. Because of his interests with community engagement, he has been an active part in volunteer initiatives and activities as well. Aoun believes that with dedication and motivation, he can bring the change he hopes to see in the world.
Mehak Arora
Director of Research
Coppell, TX, USA
Mehak Arora is a high schooler in the class of 2023 from Coppell, Texas with an ardor for environmental conservation and advocacy. As co-president of her school’s Eco-Club, Mehak leads monthly water quality tests reporting to city officials, aids in organizing volunteer cleanups, and facilitates funding projects for ecological maintenance. Certified by the Texas Stream Team, ensuring the health of local water sources drives her passion for aquatic research and management. Mehak is currently interning with the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center and conducting research on the phytoremediation process to remove heavy metals from municipal water sources that ultimately end up in water bodies such as the Gulf of Mexico. To accentuate ecological education, Mehak is working to establish an aquatic biochemistry course for elementary through high schoolers and fuel the next generation of environmental advocates. Maria Barriga

Maria is part of Interact Club Metro Mandaue 2006 (https://instagram.com/interactmetromandaue?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= ) in the International Understanding Committee. She has experiences in communicating and socializing with youth from other countries. Maria has also been an officer at her school almost each year. (She hasexperiences as a President, PRO and Auditor.) Maria and her team proposed an environmental solution to the CleanTeach Competition 2022 and placed in the top 30 out of 600+ competitors. She has volunteered as a host for several small events, and Maria considers her social skills as a handy tool and a strength in various occasions. In Maria's elementary years, she was part of the journalism team as a news writer and placed 2nd in the Division level.
Alexa Bernard

Alexa Bernard is a freshman at Lowell High School in San Francisco. She was an executive at Covalence San Francisco where she helped by creating art to post on social media as well as helping recruit members and assist in running beach cleanups. This summer she volunteered at the San Francisco Public Library where she helped with assembling stem kits, log young readers into the library’s database, and a multitude of other tasks. In her free time, Alexa enjoys playing volleyball, baking, and oil painting.


Solomon Ekundayo

Solomon is the team lead at Plogging Nigeria Club Ahmadu Bello University - an environmental organization that promotes environmental sustainability and physical fitness. He’s committed to coordinating over 120 youths to carry out cleanup exercises, awareness and sensitization programs and environmental projects for cleaner communities. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Solomon organised cleanup exercises where he removed over 53 bags of waste from the environment within 7 weeks to the nearest recycling company to keep his community clean and free from clogged up gutter ways contributing to flooding. Solmon was featured on a mini documentary on climate change by UNICEF Nigeria, where he was recognised as a young climate activist by UNICEF Nigeria through his environmental activismHe co-facilitates an academy, ‘Green Switch Academy,’ to have successfully trained 1168 people across the globe on themes of solid waste management, climate change and general environmental sustainability.
Lulu Goulet-Hofsass

Lulu Goulet-Hofsass is a student at a secondary school in Massachusetts. For 2 years, Lulu participated in her middle school’s EAC (Environmental Ambassadors Committee). During her second year in EAC, Lulu became the co-leader, writing emails, organizing times for meetings, and putting together her school’s Earth Day. Lulu was also a part of Covalence SF where she attended beach cleanups in her free time. Soon later, she became an executive volunteer for Covalence SF where she worked on social media/marketing. In her free time, Lulu likes to hang with friends, care for the environment, and play her favorite sports.


Daniel Enock Manoba

Daniel Enock Manoba is a 22 year old Undergraduate student of University of Ghana and a verified Certification holder of HarvardX in Fundamental Principles in Leadership. He is very interested in SDGs work and is a climate activist. Daniel fights for climate justice and preventing plastic pollution for ocean cleanness. He also volunteer with a couple of organizations such as Theirworld, Africa Youth Advocate and Daby Foundation for community development. Furthermore, Daniel is a youth leader and holding various positions in youth-led organizations some of which include KONSU-University of Ghana Chapter Vice President
Sophia Tabibian

Sophia Tabibian is a student at Phillips Academy. In the summer of 2021, she was honored to be a Planet 911 EarthxYouth Fellow. Additionally, Sophia founded Covalence San Francisco, and she has been an intern for Supervisor Catherine Stefani at San Francisco City Hall. Sophia also served as Student Council President for her K-8 school. Most recently, she was an intern at Peace Boat US and is an EarthEcho Water Challenge Ambassador. In her free time, Sophia enjoys reading and playing sports.


Vivienne Wan

Vivienne Wan is a ninth grader in San Francisco. Vivienne was previously an Executive Member of Covalence SF, managing data and volunteer information and attending weekly beach cleanups. In addition, she co-created two films for the Redford Center Stories contest; one, centered around the idea of the ultimate eco-friendly house, was awarded Third Place and the other, about a bingo board activity that encouraged action against climate change at her school, won Best Graphics. Vivienne is excited and honored to be a member of the Covalence Board, a co-leader of the Covalence Chapter Program, and a co-president of Covalence San Francisco. In her free time, Vivienne enjoys playing sports, reading science-fiction, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends and family.
Oshadhi Wimansa

Oshadhi wimansa is a high school senior living in Sri Lanka. She is also an Arctic Angel in Global Choices and a team member of Youth.ify. Being in love with the ocean, Oshadhi joined Ocean Conservation work in 2019 and became a participant in the Youth Advocacy Collective at Marine Mammal Center. From participating and volunteering in different organizations, she further joined a few other Organizations to improve her passion and skills. Her work has been featured in unique platforms like She Changes Climate and Arctic Angels. Oshadhi has been invited to speak at different events around the world. Stewardship Saturday program, 2022 EarthEco Youth Leadership summit, Covalence Youth Climate Change Conference, and Ocean Conservation Symposium. Apart from work, she is a badminton player, athlete, and an art student. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends and family, Go on trips, and Snorkeling. One day she hopes to become a marine biologist and get more involved in Ocean Conservation. Oshadhi is so excited to join the Covalence Global team and work together to take action for climate change.
